Customer Portfolio

Since the early ‘80s, the major vehicle manufacturers worldwide have identified in VM the ideal partner for state-of-the-art diesel engines to be used in passenger cars, SUV’s and Light Duty Trucks.

In year 2000 VM engines started utilizing sophisticated systems for combustion control and emission management, such as Common Rail injection, Exhaust Gas Recirculation, Variable Geometry Turbochargers and Exhaust gas aftertreatment systems, to meet the challenging emission control regulations, up to the latest rules currently enforced in Europe and NorthAmerica.

This concentration of best-in-class technology convinced Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Alfa Romeo, Rover etc. to utilize VM engines for their high-end vehicles.

In the same way, a number of important customers in various industrial, agricultural and marine fields opted for VM industrial engines. The fallout of automotive technologies on off-highway engines provided a competitive edge over other industrial and marine engine manufacturers.
